As the electrical contractor, EIG managed the installation of the new battery storage system, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), at the Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) St. Cloud Substation.
This project, a significant milestone for OUC, enhances grid resiliency and contributes to a more sustainable and reliable energy future for their community. The BESS will store excess energy from solar and other generation sources, providing power during periods of low solar output and high electric demand.
