EIG, with its extensive expertise, provided comprehensive design support and expertly managed the permitting process for Alta Energy's installation of ~1.6 MW of fixed-tilt ground-mount Photovoltaic (PV) systems at two Merrill Farms sites. Despite the project sites being roughly 30 miles apart, our team efficiently completed the scope concurrently.
Our scope included overseeing the civil and racking installation and all electrical installations. The civil work included:
- Surveying
- Gravel ground cover
- Racking installation
- Trenching and backfill
- Concrete equipment pads
The team also coordinated, installed, and commissioned all electrical equipment, conduit, wiring, communication and controls, and utility interconnection.
These two solar projects are expected to generate 80 percent of the electricity consumed, substantially reducing carbon emissions by 505 metric tons annually.
